My Story
My name is Jaliyah Sanford, and I am the Founder and CEO of Tutu Treats. My aunt Jennifer Drummond introduced me to the baking world when I was sixteen years old. She asked if I would help her baking Christmas desserts. At the time I had no idea that one day of baking would change the course of my life. I fell in love with the process and outcome of baking, but nothing toped the joy it brought people when they tasted my treats. My family noticed my love and talent for baking, so they pushed me to do what I love for a living. Opening my own business was scary, but I couldn't live with the regret of not trying at all. Tutu Treats would not exist without the love and support of the people around me, and I am eternally grateful.
